Wolfin roofing membranes are soft, polymeric plasticised, but extruded, thermoplastic membranes. They are designed for:
- repairing of a defective roof: With traditional systems the repair of a leak often requires the complete stripping of the roof. As they are bitumen compatible (according DIN16937), Wolfin membranes may be installed directly onto the defective roof. Wolfin allows damp insulation to dry off due to its comparatively high Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate. The high M.V.T.R. allows the membrane to ‘breathe’ while the black colour will accelerate the evaporation by increasing the temperature of the roof. The light weight of the membrane, consistent with the other RENOLIT WATERPROOFING products, minimises the extra load supported by the roof structure.
- green roofs: Wolfin membranes present an equally strong resistance to bacteria and roots (proven by an accelerated FLL, 4 years test). Those key advantages are the guarantee for a reliable green roof.
- small roofs: the Wolfin self adhesive membranes are among the most user friendly single plies. They are therefore often chosen to waterproof small areas such as garages or garden sheds as they can be instantly installed safely and reliably.
RENOLIT WATERPROOFING received under the terms of an alliance with Henkel the exclusivity of their sales in the following countries: the France, Benelux, Spain, Portugal, Italy.
